Heaven Is Here: May 2015

We have had quite a busy month with a lot going on with mine and Katherine's birthdays, and with her graduating and all, but we have made it through!! : ) My two little humans are growing like weeds, and Jens is getting to be such a super chunk!

Jens: We have had quite a go trying to figure him out, but I have just come to decide that he is just a fussy, colicky, gassy baby, and there is really not much I can do about it no matter how hard I try. He is just going to have to grow out of it! It is been so hard to have him so fussy and he will only take a binky 15% of the time, but I love him all the same!

While trying to figure out what I was eating that was making him fussy (I have cut dairy out of my diet), his bum started to get SO RASHY. It then got to the point where he had 12 - 15 OPEN SORES on his little bottom and the whole thing was red and scaly. It was the most horrible thing I have ever experienced. I had no idea what could make it so awful. After thinking it was something I was eating, I figured out it must have been a chemical burn from switching the brand of diapers I was using. So I switched back and wha-la! It started to clear up!! So we just had 4 or 5 days of that horribleness to go through! So now we are just back to trying to figure out the usual fussiness. haha

We have gotten progressively better though, instead of crying from 10 am - 10 pm we only cry 4- 10 pm on an average day : ) and he is still sleeping only about 3 hours at a time at night.

McKell has had a weird rash for about 6 weeks now that hasn't been bothering her until this last week of it, it is almost gone, but has gotten itchier. We took her in to get it looked at and it is something called Rosea.. and it is viral so she has had a cough and a runny nose for about that long as well, we are certainly ready for that to be gone! And to top it off I got a UTI about two weeks ago!! We have been having a lot of fun at our house!!!! : ) : ) : )

McKell: She is talking and understanding SO MUCH. She is the smartest little girl and can sing her ABC's, count to 9, knows all the verses to "I Am A Child of God" and Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, knows all her colors and circles and triangles. Her new favorite game to play is "I Spy with my little Eye". She loves to help out with Jens and whenever he starts crying she rushes over to where he is at and exclaims "I will get him, cause I am the big sister!!!". I love my little helper.

Clint is the sleeping King!! He can usually always calm Jens down, just by talking, and can usually get McKell to go down for a nap! He is the bee's knees!! : )

Clint has got the grass looking as lovely as ever! We have had so much rain the past month or so, it has rained every weekend and Clint has had to mow about every 4 days and we haven't even had the sprinklers on! This weather is beautiful!

I didn't get to see Kat walk in because we were late, little Jens was mad and so Clint had to go find somewhere to rock him, it was a SAUNA in there which was making McKell's rash flare and she was getting super itchy and crying (I am not even sure how she is smiling for these pictures), and then Jens was hungry, so we snapped a couple pictures and blew out of there!!
