A Grandmother's Love

A couple weeks ago, we watched another family member return to our loving Heavenly Father. Great-Grandma passed away at her home on January 29. She had 54 Grandchildren, 176 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren! What a family! I am so proud to be part of it! 

I stole this picture off of Erin's facebook, but I just love it so much! It really shows her personality! Grandma had a laugh that couldn't be beat! Just thinking about her laugh could get me laughing for hours! 

I don't know if Grandma ever once thought of herself. She was so full of love and service.  

Our 5 generation picture! We are so lucky to have gotten this! 

My last quilt I got from Grandma for our wedding. I think this was number 4 or 5. I would be she easily made well over a thousand quilts in her lifetime, all that she gave away. She didn't want the quilts to put in a box, but to be used! ; ) One night when we were trying to sleep, I kept getting poked by something and we could not figure out what it was! After we investigated we found that it was a big pin that Grandma had sewn in on accident! I wanted to leave it in, just for the memory! We had a lot of great laughs after telling Grandma about it! 

I love you Grandma! Thank you for your wonderful example, and beautiful personality! Can't wait to see you again!
