So, yes, I am extremely behind! The past two weeks have been beyond busy, and I can't believe I have made it through! : ) It only happened because of Clint, my parents and the in-laws. I thank you all for all your help the past two weeks! So, I got a job at Millard Care and Rehab. It was a much needed step in my life, but a hard one, especially with little McKell at home.
So, at the end of August I wrote my resume and cover letter and headed down to the care center. Picked up an application and went out to the car to fill it out. When I came back in Wendy Stevens, the Director of Nursing, said, "Hey Sharayah! What you doing?". I handed her the paperwork and she said, "When do you want to start?". Well that was easy! She told me what else I needed to bring in and told me to bring my days that I want off......... The rest is history. The next week I worked Monday thru Thursday doing training, and then the next week I worked Monday night and Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Sunday was my first real shift.
I have to honestly say that I love it there! I would much rather be home, but if I have to keep up my license, then this is a good place to be! I adore the residents and learn so much from them! They truly brighten my day! I want to help those residents have the best possible, most comfortable time there and some of the nurses aren't doing so, and it makes me sad! I want to make them happy and comfortable! I am scheduled to work once a week, so once I get the hang of things it shouldn't be to bad!
On top of all of that, on Monday I took my first test for Medical Terminology and got a 94%! So that I am very excited about! I am just trying to find the right balance with all this going on!
McKell got in her other bottom tooth about two days after I posted that she had her first tooth! They are just the cutest things! This was our first toothbrushing session! : )
My guess is she liked the flavor...... : )
This is a terrible picture, hahaha, but you can kind of see those two teeth poking through!
This is about two weeks after the brushing pictures, with snotty nose and all, I think her top teeth are trying to come through!
I am so ready for Autumn! For leaves changing, days getting brisker, Halloween, Thanksgiving and everything else that come with Fall! So I made some cheesy vegetable soup and homemade rolls last night!! It felt oh so good!
Whenever I turn on a couple certain songs, McKell starts to smile and dance, it is a regular happening in her high chair. This video doesn't really honestly portray her happiness, because she is mad that she can't have the camera, but it is still super cute!
There are so many pictures from the last couple weeks that Clint has on his phone, because I kept forgetting the camera. I will get those on soon so we can see them! They are adorable!
