Great-Grandma Shipley gave McKell this purple ball to play with! We went over to visit one time and she was just enthused with it! So Grandma let us take it home! She absolutely loves it! Always pounding on it or chasing it.
Once again..... so hard to get a good picture! : )
This is my new favorite outfit! I am pretty sure I had her wear it 3 or 4 times last week!
Love watching her sleep!
We went and played at the park with Savannah, Paisley, Bentzen and Emmet!
Yay Yay Yay!!!!! My life is forever greatly changed!!!!!! We got a Dyson vacuum! I can now officially feel ok about McKell tearing around on this carpet, because I know it has been cleaned with a 5 star vacuum! I LOVE these vacuums!
Isn't it funny when you get to the point in your life when you are excited over a vacuum!?!? hahaha
This week on Tuesday, August 6th was Lucille Ball's birthday!! So of course, me and Shaye just had to celebrate! It was so much fun! We watched episode after episode and ate some popcorn and fruit and fruit dip (which was so incredibly amazing!!!! Shaye made it out of marshmellow cream and whipped berry cream cheese..... does that explain how yummy it must have been???)
We had a grand time and it was so good to get together and actually do something worthwhile : ) hahahaha
So, my next new project also came this week! I am so excited to start saving money and start using cloth diapers! Clint's cousin Lacey introduced me to them and said that they aren't hard and saves money! Which I totally believe! (a box of diapers at Costco is $48.00 and that is the cheapest around, those almost, but not quite last a month, so it is about $55.00 a month for diapers!)
These diapers can fit a newborn up to a 30 pound baby! (because of the snaps) I got 24 diapers and 24 microfiber inserts! If they are just wet, you can just change out the insert.
I just need to make some washer bags for them and then I will be ready to go!
So, so excited!!!
Yay for Anniversary time!! Yes, this weekend was our Anniversary and we planned a little trip down to St. George with just the both of us!
We were getting ready to go and we're planning to leave around 11. Clint decided to go see if he could find something he wanted to bring that was appratently at his Mom and Dad's house. So he left to go find it. (glasses or something) So I got all ready, got McKell's stuff all ready and she had taken a nap while he was gone, and I had fed her....... and we were still waiting for Clint! It was getting to be 11 10ish and I was getting frustrated! I was ready to be on our way! So in a tither I called him and he appoligized and said to go drop off the baby without him.. Fine. So I went and dropped off McKell around 11 20, to Mom and Kat. When I came back up he was finally back and I charged into the house, for this was not the way I wanted to start off the weekend! There on the table sat 12 beautiful roses and a beautiful card from my lover...... I felt sick. Please everyone.... don't get angry or frustrated until you know the whole situation.
I have such a great husband! (he went to Delta and got them : )
So we were on our way! We made reservations at the Seven Wives Inn Bed and Breakfast! It was such a beautiful house! You could feel the romance seeping out of the walls! : )
We got the Melissa room, the honeymoon suite! Equipped with couch area, jetted tub and stained glass window and four poster bed! It was lovely! I love the old houses! It was so neat!
They also had a delicious breakfast, freshly made! I got the 3 stacker apple cinnamon crepe with bacon, and Clint got the Ham and Cheese Soufel with bacon and toast! YUM!
Friday night we went to Mary Poppins! ( we had someone take this picture and he didn't do a very good job : (, last time we will ever ask him again! so there!!) Still cute though, still cute!
The show was incredible! The music was lovely, Mary Poppins floated across the skies with her umbrella, the chimney sweeps danced on the rooftops, fireworks echoing through the canyon, it just doesn't get better than that! Did I mention how much I love plays!?!? Clint even said he would love to see it again! Bonus!!!
I was dying to float away holding my own umbrella!
Our jetted tub view <3
My present to Clint for our Anniversary. It was the cutest mini package!
Our Anniversary dinner!! Bacon wrapped Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Brown Sugar Carrots, and Rolls. And to top it off....... Marionberry Pie Tillamook Ice Cream!
What a wonderful weekend! I Love You Clint and am so excited for many more years (and Tuacahns) to come!!! xoxoxoxoxo
